Veteran Resources
Sheridan College offers a number of resources to all military veterans enrolled in one of our colleges. We also want to do our best to connect you with other services located within the region.
Internal Resources
Veteran Advisor – This person is your single point of contact for admissions, enrollment, financial aid, veteran benefits and programming to support academic and career success.
Priority Registration – Student veterans are allowed to register for the next semester up to two weeks prior to registration opening. This ensures a class schedule that best supports individual needs.
Veterans Center – Connect with other vets in the lounge, study and use the computer lab with free printing, and meet with the Veteran Advisor.
Veterans Club – At each campus, our clubs are Student Veterans of America (SVA) chapters and work to promote the general welfare of student veterans and advance veterans’ issues on campus and in the community. Typical activities include semi-monthly meetings, campus & community color guards, trips, coffee groups, paintball, color run, Spartan runs, and guest speakers.
Veterans House – Located at Sheridan College, this is dedicated housing just for military and veterans creating a supportive living & learning community.
