SHERIDAN, WY —Sheridan College is thrilled to announce “Music on the Mall,” a free, family-friendly event kicking off the Sheridan WYO Rodeo week of festivities on Sunday, July 6, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., under the big tent in the picturesque Whitney Mall in the heart of the Sheridan College campus.
“Music on the Mall” promises to be an afternoon and evening filled with exceptional live music, with a lineup sure to delight audiences of all ages with diverse genres and captivating performances. The event kicks off with the contemporary folk stylings of Utah’s Branson Anderson, followed by the award-winning bluegrass sounds of The Fretliners out of Colorado. Next, Sheridan favorites The Two Tracks take the stage, with their signature blend of folk rock and Americana. The evening culminates with a headlining performance by acclaimed east coast roots rockers, Yarn, bringing inspiring jams to close out the night.
In addition to the music, there will be local artisan crafts, delicious food, and refreshing beverages. Attendees can browse a variety of arts and crafts vendors, savor offerings from local food trucks, and enjoy craft beers from local breweries.
“We are excited to host this free community event, bringing together music lovers, local vendors, and families to celebrate the start of the iconic Sheridan WYO Rodeo week,” said Sheridan College president Walt Tribley. “Music on the Mall will be a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a summer afternoon on our beautiful Sheridan College campus.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
Sheridan College is currently seeking submissions from arts and crafts vendors. Deadline is June 1st.
