Mark Thoney has spent over twenty years within the technology industry as a systems integrator. His objective in this field is to identify, design, implement and deploy robust and scalable web applications that address the dispersal and collection of information between a company’s enterprise systems and their employees and customers via Intranets and the Internet. He has worked on projects for small businesses as well as large organizations. The solutions he has implemented have included a number of different platforms, programming languages and applications.
As a consultant with IBM Global Services and independently, he concentrated on the application of Internet technologies in industries such as Aerospace, Travel and Transportation, Telecommunications, Banking, Entertainment and Hospitality. Projects ranged from document management to e-commerce.
Mark enjoys sharing his passion for programming and problem solving with all ages and is always looking to find ways to introduce programming in an enjoyable and meaningful way.
Sheridan College is a comprehensive community college located at the base of the beautiful Bighorn Mountains. Sheridan College serves Sheridan and Johnson Counties in northern Wyoming.
