Alison Larsen is a full-time faculty member in the Dental Hygiene program at Sheridan College. She is a native of Wyoming and loves sharing her passion for dental hygiene with students at her alma mater. Alison worked in private dental practice as a registered dental hygienist in Wyoming for 11 years prior to joining the team at Sheridan college in 2018. She teaches preclinical and clinical dental hygiene to first and second-year students enrolled in the professional program. Her classroom responsibilities include teaching Oral Radiology lecture and lab, and Dental Materials lab. She serves as co-advisor to the Sheridan College chapter of the Student American Dental Hygienists’ Association and is a member of both the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and the Wyoming Dental Hygienists’ Association. Alison is currently enrolled in graduate school at Eastern Washington University, pursuing a Master of Science in Dental Hygiene degree. When she isn’t working or studying, Alison enjoys time outdoors with her husband and their four children in the country where they live.
