You’ll dive into ethical considerations and AI limitations while learning to interact with tools like chatbots and smart assistants. With hands-on activities, you’ll master how to “prompt” AI for optimal results—no programming skills required! Perfect for business professionals and non-technical audiences looking to harness AI’s potential in everyday life.

The Architectural Sketching class explores fundamental sketching concepts and principles essential for drawing and design. Beginning and advanced skill levels will acquire useful tips and techniques to create realistic and expressive drawings. Students will learn the basics of drawing such as perspective, proportion, shading, texture, and composition, as well as how to draw architectural and design themes. The class examines various hand drawing techniques using different mediums including pencils, watercolors, protractors, and digital art using the Concepts App with stylus pen with an iPad.

This course allows students to develop the skills necessary to experience fly-fishing in their own lives. Lessons will include a discussion of basic gear, essential safety techniques, and an introduction to the fundamental skills essential to the activity. Students will also examine outdoor ethics and any specific license requirements related to the activity. Topics related to this course will vary according to the specific activity. No experience is necessary, but students will need to own a valid Wyoming fishing license for field trips.

Have you wanted to start seeds for your vegetable or flower garden in the spring but are unsure where to start? In this course, you will learn strategies to start seeds so that plants are ready to transplant into your garden once the temperatures are warm enough. We will explore basic techniques and some advanced techniques in plant propagation. Growing media, containers, and greenhouse space will be provided. You supply the seeds.

Learn to harness the power of beneficial microbes to make delicious and healthy foods. This hands-on class will cover the science and cultural importance of fermentation, and survey a wide variety of techniques to preserve and transform humble ingredients into exciting culinary concoctions. Students will leave each session having made a sampling of fermented foods to bring home with them. We’ll cover fermented vegetables like sauerkraut, kimchi, and brine-pickled cucumbers, dairy products like cheese, yogurt, and cultured butter, beverages like kombucha, jun, and water kefir, condiments like hot sauce, and mustard, sourdough basics, and more. Lunch provided each day!

This introductory course is designed for students regarding the fundamentals of fly fishing. Participants will get an overview on topics including gear selection, basic entomology, fly selection, proper knots, casting, and much more. If you have ever thought of trying this amazing sport, this class will shorten the learning curve and help you to have success on the water.

Wanting to take that perfect picture? Then this is your course. In this class, you will learn how to work that digital camera, take the right picture, and then crop, edit, and even print those images. This class is both for beginners and seasoned photographers. This is an introductory still-photography class dealing with the basics of digital photography. Students will learn basic camera anatomy and functions, along with lighting and flash techniques. Specific areas such as file formats, image editing programs, printers, and electronic format output will be covered. Lectures may introduce the work of noted photographers, study the evolution of aesthetics and theory associated with the history of the medium, and examine the impact that the photographic image exerts in historical and contemporary culture.

This course will provide students with the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to obtain a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on flight training, students will learn about FAA regulations and aircraft operations. Upon completion, students will have the information necessary to pass the FAAs Part 107 test to fly drones commercially.
