Our Music Technology Certificate centers on recording arts, including digital audio production and editing. It also covers music engraving, performance, and self-promotion.
Your courses will include Intro to Music Technology, Techniques for Live Sound, Music Portfolio, and more. After graduating with your Music Technology Certificate, you will understand MIDI implementation, synthesis, computer-generated notation, and multimedia integration.

As a music technology student, you will have the opportunity to learn in one of the nation’s premier music education centers, the Whitney Center for the Arts at Sheridan College. The WCA, a $20 million facility, includes a recital and performance space, recording studios to enhance your music portfolio, classrooms, and a 422-seat concert hall.
