Mae has been the Director of Agriculture and Rangeland Management instructor at Sheridan College since August 2017. She was born and raised in Wyoming and has been identifying plants and playing in soil her whole life. She loves working within all of the ag disciplines and helping the next generation in agriculture be successful.
Mae grew up on a ranch in Pinedale, WY, where she developed her passion for range management. Previously, she worked as the University of Wyoming Extension Educator for Range Management where she developed classes, workshops and publications for youth to adults. Mae loves getting students in the field for classes.
In addition to her roles as director and instructor at Sheridan College, she is an advisor for the Sheridan College Range Club and member of the Society for Range Management. She also takes a group of students to the Wyoming and International Society for Range Management conferences each year.
