Originally from northeastern Wyoming near Recluse, Bobby began his professional rodeo career at just 15 years old, earning the PRCA Rookie of the Year title in steer roping in 1978. Over the course of his career, he qualified for the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) 18 times and achieved a world championship in team roping in 1991.
Bobby’s many accolades include induction into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 2022, celebrating his contributions to the sport.
