The Thorne-Rider Campus Center (TRCC) is Sheridan College’s new student-focused activity center and dining commons, which opened August 2014. Students can bond over cheeseburgers — or a plethora of other food options served food-court style — play pool, study on the couches or take in a ‘Tunes @ Noon’ on the colorful amphitheater-style seating.

Endless possibilities for student life

Sheridan College students are given the opportunity to participate in a number of activities hosted by SC Activities Network and student clubs and organizations in the Campus Center. The Center also hosts weekly events such as musicians, magicians, comedians, and hypnotists; hands-on student activities; and movies.

Something for every taste

The new Griffith Dinning Commons, located in the TRCC, offers several options for food service. Stations include brick-oven pizza, salads, custom sandwiches, stir-fry, burritos, home-style meals and the General Sheridan’s Grill. During meal times students, employees and community members come together to enjoy a good meal in a great space. Sheridan College has several food service meal plans available for students.
