Alicia Burr is a full-time instructor in the Dental Hygiene department at Sheridan College. She graduated from the Sheridan College Dental Hygiene Program and loves teaching future professionals in the industry. She spent eight years working in private practice and teaching part-time at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, WY, before coming to Sheridan College.
Alicia teaches preclinical and clinical dental hygiene to both first and second-year students enrolled in the professional program. She also teaches dental anatomy and pharmacology and assists in both dental materials and radiology lab with first-year students. She is a member of both the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) and the Wyoming Dental Hygienists’ Association (WyDHA).
In her spare time, Alicia loves spending time with her husband, sons, daughter, and dog. She loves summertime with her family enjoying camping and wake surfing. She loves baking, football, gardening, concerts, and events with friends and family. Alicia is happy to be part of the instructor team for the Dental Hygiene department and loves to share her passion of dental hygiene with her students.
