Heather Wofford joined Northern Wyoming Community College District in 2021 as a full-time Nursing faculty member. She began her nursing career as a registered nurse in 2012 after graduating from Gillette College. Heather went on to receive her bachelor’s in nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Western Governors University in 2020.
Her nursing career began in long-term care and on a medical-surgical unit, but much of her experience has been spent as a perioperative nurse. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed mentoring and teaching new nurses, which eventually led her to nursing education.
Sheridan College is a comprehensive community college located at the base of the beautiful Bighorn Mountains. Sheridan College serves Sheridan and Johnson Counties in northern Wyoming.
