Pam Phillips

Pam Drews Phillips has conducted the Broadway companies of “Crazy for You” and “Jerome Robbins’ Broadway” (both winners of the Tony Award for Best Musical), the national company of “On Your Toes”, and the national and Scandinavian companies of “Evita”. As a keyboard player she has played in many Broadway shows, including “Cats”, “Les Miserables”, “City of Angels”, and “Secret Garden”. Also, her film work includes “Crossing Delancey”. As a jazz pianist she has performed with the Manhattan Rhythm Kings, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Nelson Riddle Orchestra, Betty Buckley, and Lainie Kazan. Some of the venues she performed in with these artists include Carnegie Hall (Betty Buckley), Ravinia Festival (Nelson Riddle Orchestra with Ella Fitzgerald), Rainbow and Stars (Manhattan Rhythm Kings) and the Fairmont Hotels in San Francisco and New Orleans (Lainie Kazan). As a singer/pianist she has appeared at jazz clubs, festivals and hotels around the country including a longer engagement at Images (the top of the John Hancock building in Chicago). She has a CD of solo piano pieces entitled “Open Country”, a jazz CD “Play, Piano, Play”, and also composed the music for “Petticoat Rules”, which is a musical presented at the Center for the Arts in Jackson, Wyoming, as well as “Charlotte and Shaw”, which was presented at Musical Theater Works in New York City. Currently, Pam is splitting time between Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Palm Springs, California.
