"My teaching philosophy is that Learning is IN the Challenge. In other words it is a challenged mind that will learn and retain new information and ideas. I want my students to think, question, ponder, and connect with the concepts that they are learning. To facilitate this mental interaction my students conduct hands-on labs, solve problems in groups, apply new technology, and experience the scientific method.
